So excited this CleanRiver Recycling Solutions bird nest box set up by Luke and his classmates worked! Pringle Creek P.S. has six eggs! 🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚We've been told they might be chickadee eggs. Will be reporting this to Bird Studies Canada Project NestWatch!  Thanks so much, MGCI for helping us collect over 1611 pens! 😄The staff and MGCI EcoTeam have done a fantastic job throughout the year. Hopefully, the rest of TDSB can get on board with Operation EcoPen next year! Will be taking these to Staples Canada for recycling at TerraCycle Canada.  Another 4500 squirmy mealworms to be sent to the cute patients at Toronto Wildlife Centre!  Busy exam/final project week, so we disappeared for a little while. Got this picture of a little brown bat being fed one of Luke's locally-grown mealworms from the awesome team at Toronto Wildlife Centre that was too cute not to share!  |
