Peppermint swiss chard 🍬😀 We were excited to harvest 48 lbs of beets, zucchini, swiss chard, eggplant, kale, baby leeks, scallions, chives, and garlic chives for @ftndurham this past week! 👨🌾  Baby Celebration acorn squash are starting to come up  So happy to receive a bunch of pens and markers from Maggy Bell 😀Many thanks to her for introducing Operation EcoPen to Uxbridge Library & Uxbridge Town office and for being one of our biggest supporters from the very beginning!🙂🖊️  A glorious volunteer sunflower that is towering over our garden in the eggplant bed 🌻🙂  Now this is an interesting white-fleshed beet! 🤍😀🌿 We were happy to harvest 23 lbs of beets, zucchini, swiss chard, and eggplant for Feed The Need Durham this week! 👨🌾  Yellow zucchini 💛🥒 Blossoms are good fried 😋  Swamp milkweed in our garden, otherwise known as Asclepias Incarnata 🌸🙂Milkweeds are an important food source for the monarch caterpillar 🦋😀  Here's something offbeat 😮 Birds of Paradise flower seeds 🦜🌱Takes 8 or more weeks to germinate, 4-7 years to bloom🤨Nope, leaving these to our mom  Black beauty: the eggplant standard 😋 Hoping for a bumper crop  |
