We did a massive harvest and started putting our garden to bed Labour Day weekend👨🌾We were really happy to put together 176 lbs of tomatoes 🍅various winter squash🍈 zukes & cukes🥒eggplant🍆beets🍒potato🥔peppers🌶️ Feed the Need in Durham. September is Hunger Action Month. Please support food as a basic human right.     White dutch clover makes a great green manure to get garden beds ready for the next growing season. But we're mainly growing it for the the patients at @torontowildlifecentre 🐇 Harvested 10 lbs this week! 🍀 They do so much for our wildlife!🙂   We're getting second chances with zucchini having planted a second, mid-summer crop 🏵️🥒 Bonus delivery of 57 lbs of swiss chard 🌿 assorted kale🥦 zukes 🥒fingerling potatoes 🥔 & tomatoes 🍅 this past week to Feed the Need in Durham🙂We encourage you to help your hungry neighbours.
