Did you know squirrels love to eat kale, especially curly kale? 🥦🐿️ Harvested ~12 lbs of kale for the squirrels at @torontowildlifecentre this month 😀 We appreciate everything TWC does to save our wildlife!
While mammals are sensitive to chili pepper spice, birds are completely immune!🌶️🐦 In fact, they help spread peppers by eating them & excreting their seeds! 😀
We were thrilled to put together 46 lbs peppers 🌶️, cukes 🥒, tomatoes 🍅, potatoes 🥔, and beets ❤️ for Feed the Need in Durham @ftndurham early this month! 😄 Did you know biggest is not best when it comes to zucchini's? The most flavourful zukes are small- to medium in size 🥒👩🍳 Special thanks to Team Copeland for contributing awesome zucchinis!

Cherry tomatoes at various stages of ripening 🍅 Ripe tomatoes last 5-7 d at room temperature. Then, you can refrigerate them for 3-4 d to extend their life. Move back to room temperature for 1-2 d to rejuvenate flavour before eating 😋
Baby cucumbers 🥒😀🏵️The inside of a cucumber can be 10-20°F cooler than the ambient temperature. That's why we say “cool as a cucumber.” 🌡️🧊
