Happy Thanksgiving to our American neighbours! 🦃🙂🧡  First heavy snowfall of the season🌨️ Made the birch near our victory garden even more beautiful 🙂❤️🏞️  Not much cauliflower going on in our victory garden😄but at least we grew beautiful leaves💗😁  First snowfall of the season yesterday 🌨️And it was perfect snow❄️It's pretty chilly so we'll move lettuce growing indoors now🌿  World's tiniest broccoli head😆Mental note for to start broccoli earlier next year🥦Our mealworm frass can't save this! 🐛  Bright Lights Swiss Chard is still growing 🤩"The garden suggests there might be a place where we can meet nature halfway" - Michael Pollan  "For those who leave never to return. A fall special: bok choy!🥬Harvested 8 lbs for Feed the Need in Durham plus 4.5 lbs kale🥦5 lbs beets ❤️& 2 lbs radishes 🍒 Please help fight food insecurity in your community!🙂  The quite beauty of the humble dandelion. It's good for pollinators, breaking up soil, and even eating. If you eat mesclun salads, you are probably already eating dandelion leaves!😀  |
